Peter Capon has over 50 years experience of fishkeeping and over the years has written for many publications including T.F.H., Aquarium Journal of San Francisco, the Aquarist and Pondkeeper, Practical Fishkeeping, Tropical Fish, and Tropical World. A few years ago he acted as authenticator to the part work publication Practical Aquarium. A consultancy service is also available.

Aqua World was originally set up by Peter Capon as a retail aquatics outlet in the South end-On-Sea area of Essex England. The shop ceased trading after about two and a half years (1991 to 1993).

Following this Peter was employed by the Aquatic Design Centre in London. Prior to Aqua World Peter was also in Sprinklers Aquatic Centre on the Shoeburyness/Wakering borders, Reefs Aquatics in Grays, Essex and Fins & Wings within Selfridges, Oxford Street, London.

Today Aqua World is concerned with maintenance of ponds and aquaria confined to a local area together with yet more writing.
